Project Management Applications
For some, third-party web-based project management and collaboration tools like Basecamp can meet most of their needs. For others, an application that is modeled after the company to match business processes and workflow, the result can be much more valuable.
We walk the walk. We tried utilizing others' pre-built tools, but quickly found those tools were only effective for a small part of our needs. We needed a tool that was more comprehensive and setup to help streamline our business processes. We built a tool from scratch with the following features:
- Client module
keeps track of business accounts, billing information and client contacts
- Project & task module
tracks projects, task assignment
- Invoicing module
creates invoices on the fly for hourly projects upon completion and allows project-based invoices to be created by the user
- Timekeep module
allows employees to clock in / clock out and tracks sick time, holiday time, and vacation time
- Feedback module
allows management to provide both positive and constructive feedback which is tracked and saved for employee reviews
- Blog module
collects favorite blog entries from employees and sends a weekly list of entries to the entire team
- Document library
organizes and stores important company documents
- Expense module
provides a place for employees to track and process expenses
- Supplies module
tracks internal office supply requests for streamlined / bulk ordering
